This Privacy Policy explains how Food Operate Company ("Food Operate", "we"), registered at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, collects and uses personal data when you use our website, the Food Operate Power Data business portal, or contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
1. Data we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, company, job title, e-mail address, phone and WhatsApp number.
- Business information about your company and its offers, demands, products and promotions.
- Messages and enquiries you send us through the website, e-mail or WhatsApp, including the Listing they relate to.
- Account data for business-portal users: user name, e-mail and the access rights granted to you.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and server logs needed to run and secure the Services. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies; the portal only stores your login session in your browser.
2. How we use your data
- to answer your enquiries and connect you with the business behind a Listing;
- to provide, secure and improve the Services and your business-portal account;
- to send you service messages, and marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them;
- to comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights.
3. WhatsApp communication
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta to communicate with businesses. When you message us on WhatsApp, or agree to receive WhatsApp messages from us, your phone number, profile name and message content are processed by us and by Meta as our service provider, in line with WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We send WhatsApp messages only to people who have contacted us or agreed to be contacted. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP or by contacting info@FoodOperate.com.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
- with the business behind a Listing when you ask us to connect you with it;
- with service providers that process data for us under contract (for example Microsoft Azure for hosting in the United Arab Emirates, e-mail providers, and Meta for WhatsApp messaging);
- where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiries and messages for up to 3 years after our last contact, and account data while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless the law requires longer.
6. Security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, encrypted in transit, and access is limited to authorised staff.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Contact us at info@FoodOperate.com; we reply within 30 days.
8. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its date.
